Found a domestic bunny or need to re-home your domestic bunny?
Every day we receive requests regarding bunnies looking for new homes. We are an animal therapy ministry and not a rescue. We are not equipped to handle these situations. Please note that it is a Class 2 Misdemeanor to abandon an animal per North Carolina General Statute 14-361.1 Please do not abandon your bunny!
Please consider the following before re-homing- bunnies that are not spayed or neutered tend to have more undesirable behaviors such as aggression and poor litter box habits. Your bunny will likely be a much better pet after this procedure, for you or for the next family who adopts them.

Found an Eastern Cottontail Bunny?
Found a wild cottontail bunny? Most are not orphans. Please do not touch or feed. Please click the bunny picture below and carefully read the information about what to do.
We have adopted 3 of our bunnies from Carolina Waterfowl Rescue (CWR). CWR does wonderful work to find great homes for the domestic bunnies they rescue. They provide excellent care for these bunnies before adopting them out. You can find them on Facebook and their website links below.
Always consider adopting through a reputable rescue! Your new pet will have already been examined by a vet and spayed/neutered. They may also be microchipped and vaccinated, all at a fraction of the cost to you!
You may also want to consider fostering a bunny if permitted to see if it’s the right fit for your family.
Another great resource when considering bunny adoption is Triangle Rabbits (link to their website below).
